There are no words to describe how beautiful Scotland is, so why bother trying?! Here’s a small (ish) selection of our favourite photos from our 3 years in this bonnie land. Hope you enjoy and add it to your bucket list of places to explore!

We are taking part in this year’s Capture The Colour photography competition after being nominated by fellow travel bloggers Our Big Fat Travel Adventure. The task involves picking 5 travel photos based on 5 different colours; red, yellow, white, blue and green. Since we haven’t actually started our epic adventure we have chosen our favourite pics snapped whilst exploring beautiful Scotland. I hope you like them as much as we love Scotland!
Incredible views overlooking Leith. Kellie donned her red cape as we set off on a sunny New Year’s Day to work off the excesses of the Christmas season.
I was on route to Spey Bay when I just had to stop and take a picture of this incredible sunset on a brisk winters day.
Talisker Bay, on the Isle of Skye, is a photographers dream! We couldn’t believe our luck when we stumbled across this stunning little place.
Cullen is a beautiful seaside town on the north coast of Scotland. Through wind, rain, snow, or shine this place is always a pleasure to visit.
Nethy Bridge, a lush green woodland town with endless walks, which made it the perfect setting for our first ever housesit. We never tired of walking our little dog friends along the riverside and through the enchanting forests.
Capture the Colour Nominees
So you’ve seen our efforts, but now we get to nominate 5 cool bloggers to join in the competition (Although they may not thank me for it as I just checked the deadline and it’s this Wednesday!!! Sorry folks!):
We would love to hear what you think of our entries…
